For a qualified business, the corporation will construct a building and lease it, lease it with an option to purchase or sell it at a reasonable cost. As an alternative the corporation may be able to act as a conduit for certain types of building financing for a qualified business.

The Business Community's Representative

The ADC, in cooperation with the Aurora Area Chamber and Development, continuously acts as the voice of the business community with our congressional delegation, state legislators, federal and state agencies, county commissioners, city councils, zoning boards and other similar entities. When your business or industry has an appropriate request before these bodies, the ADC will make every effort to support your specific interest to those elected and appointed officials at all levels of government.

Community Public Relations

The ADC is active in the sponsorship and organization of industry days recognizing industry in our community, ground breaking ceremonies, open houses and other similar events for the purpose of enhancing the image of industry and business in our community. The philosophy of the ADC is that it is important that the good performance of our industry and business is properly and publicly recognized.

Business Advisory Teams

A team of business executives representing a variety of talent and expertise will volunteer their time to meet with and advise anyone thinking about going into business or experiencing a business problem. You may want a second opinion or possibly some advice on a business problem or idea. You may just want to brainstorm on a new marketing idea or may need some information for required reports. A small business advisory team can assist you with your current needs and/or concerns. The service is free and there is no obligation. The team will offer suggestions according to each individual's particular situation or need. Depending on the business's request, a team of two or more members will be selected to work with you. All information and discussions are kept strictly confidential.

Seminars and Workshops

Informative, “how to“, seminars and workshops are scheduled periodically by ADC in conjunction with the Aurora Area Chamber and Development to give our industries and businesses the tools and information helpful in making decisions.

Where To Go To Get Help

If you or your business needs assistance in one of these areas, you should contact the office of the Aurora Area Chamber and Development or contact one of the board of directors of the ADC.
