Dedicated to creating educational opportunities on the land for all ages, Prairie Plains has three properties located in Hamilton County. Make a walk through the tall grass a part of your visit to the area. www.prairieplains.org Bader Park... is a 270 acre vacation spot on the Platte River, 3 miles south of Chapman, NE between Grand Island and Central City on Highway 30. It is less that 30 minutes northwest of Aurora's interstate 80 Exit 332. Tooley Park... is a 16 acre park on the Platte River 3 miles west of Marquette on 22nd Road and 3 miles North on N Road. Marquette is 12 miles north of Aurora's Interstate 80 Exit 332. Aurora City Parks... Approximately 70 acres of land within Aurora's city limits are devoted to parks. Providing beautiful wooded areas for picnics and family gatherings as well as facilities for baseball, softball, tennis, swimming, hiking , camping, and a skate park.
