Chamber Upcoming Events and Area News 6/10

Dr. Luke Griess has been helping children, just like yours, grow and exceed expectations. You don't have to accept limits other professionals have given you and your family. When you get to the WHY things are happening, you can get to the ACTION to move forward.

At this workshop, Dr. Luke will provide tools and tips to help you understand natural health solutions that can support your child in reaching his or her full potential. Dinner will be provided.

SCHEDULE:
6:30 p.m. Arrival with Food & Drinks Provided
7:00 p.m. Presentation - Our Children & The Perfect Storm: Roots, Causes, & Next Steps
8:00 p.m. Q&A with Dr. Griess

You will leave this workshop with an understanding of:
- Research Specific to ADHD/ADD, SPD, and more diagnoses that affect our families and learn why your child may be struggling and how you can help
- An Action Plan— receive step by step help that you can use to start making a difference for your child IMMEDIATELY
- Stories of Life Change—hear real life stories of kids who no longer struggle with the symptoms of sleepless nights, struggles in school and lack of focus

Together we help you learn how to MINIMIZE the tough days and MAXIMIZE the good days for your child at home this summer.

Invite friends, families, neighbors.....everyone you know! Let's start impacting our kids' health in a POSITIVE way!

Note: We want your family to be healthy and happy, so we will need your full attention. We know that can be tough with kiddos in the room, so please be sure to make childcare arrangements, as this is an adults-only event.

Collaborative Community Against Human Trafficking - June 25

Sozo Family Services/Central NE Area Human Trafficking Coalition will be teaming up on June 25th from 6 to 8 PM to feature a collaborative community problem solving event against human trafficking.

Sozo Family Services is seeking to expand in the area of providing a safe home, along with a recovery home for survivors of trafficking. Ms. Nickolaus is a provider of outpatient mental health services, as well as provides substance abuse services to residents of Hamilton county and surrounding areas. She was selected to be part of a cohort or think tank group to provide and come up with resources, education, awareness, and community involvement regarding human trafficking in Nebraska. There are many gaps of services in providing support to survivors. Community input is desired to help educate, and support people on the specific needs for survivors. Currently on their needs list: 1. seeking grant funding and grant writer to be a part of this amazing project, 2.  finding a location(s), 3.  and community support. We want you to be the change in Central NE! #NotInMyTownAurora
