Chamber of Commerce March month at a glance

April Coffee Connections: Verizon Wireless World hosted April's Coffee Connection on April 2nd. Coffee Connections is a networking event that brings customers and businesses closer. May's Coffee Connection will be on May 7th at the Village Square starting at 8 AM to 9 AM.

Easter Egg Hunt: The Aurora Chamber of Commerce partnered with Edgerton Explorit Center for their annual Easter Eggstraviganza. There was roughly 5,000 eggs that Chamber Members generously donated all the items to go inside. We also had a lot of great help from Aurora High School with the Life Skills class and National Honor Society.

Online Marketing Class: Chamber members were also invited to attend a free class to help improve their businesses. This month we brought in Diane Siefkes with REAP who showed businesses the most effective way to bring business in with an online presence. She talked about the most effective things to have on your website and social media accounts to help customers find more information about your business.

Ribbon Cutting: The Aurora Chamber of Commerce was also very busy in April welcoming two new businesses to town. The first was Lilie Jack which is located at 1211 M Street and the following week we welcomed The Makers- Bakers & Builders located at 1123 12th Street. Helpers of the month

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize the Chamber Members that help us do what we do for the community. We want to thank all of those that donated items to the Edgerton's Eggstravaganza: Runza, Verizon-Wireless World, Aurora Mall, and Heartland Jewelry. Also, thank you to the Life Skills Class and National Honors Society for Aurora Public Schools in helping the Chamber fill roughly 5,000 Eater eggs.
